Mac vs PC, what is better for trading? I'm at a crossroads when it comes to computers. My motherboard has died in my PC and I would like to know and hear some opinions on what people use as a trading computer. I have PM'd one person on this forum and they said they love their Mac and have not had any problems.
On the other hand I use TOS, and I know that they have a version for Mac, but I am very comfortable with windows. I know that you can buy a Mac and install windows through boot camp partitioning the hard drive.
Also, you can purchase apple care and it will cover the computer for three years.
I'm curious as to what people use as a trading computer Mac, call forwarding iphone 5 o2 built computer, laptop or prebuilt Dell etc. I've always had PCs, but I've heard good things about Macs.
I'm sure there must be someone trading on a Mac. Hell, I'd be stock trading mac vs pc to bet there is someone trading on an I-Pad for that matter: I stock trading mac vs pc partial to a PC. I don't know much about a MAC except that they are expensive and the owners love them and they aren't that easy to upgrade as compared to a PC. With a PC you can buy a fairly reasonable priced pc with room for expansion in the future and if a part fails you can replace it rather easily.

Mac vs PC for trading
I trade from a Gateway Quad Core Processor- I thought I would never love trading from a laptop, but I would not have it any other way. I can throw this thing in a bag, grab my mobile hotspot and head out.
When I was in the NFLX trade the other morning, I should have left the room to use the little boys room, but ran to my car, pulled out the laptop, cranked up the hotspot and sold the position.
